open the hood, the audio fuses are in a black box in the passanger side just next to the steering wheel liquid tank.

The fuse that controls your Instrument cluster on a 2000 silverado is going to be linked with your radio fuse. Look in the fuse box under the hood, (upper right hand side, driver side) and look for a fuse labeled radio. It should be a 10 amp. If it is good, then cluster and radio fuse is good.

Fuse #29 is a 15 amp fuse for the radio also fuse # 20 is a 7.5 amp fuse for the radio , RAP module and GEM also fuse # 28 is a 7.5 amp fuse for the radio and GEM in the fuse panel in the end of the dash on the drivers side ( the removable plastic fuse panel cover is visible with the drivers door open )

The radio, in your 2000 Saturn, can be unlocked by removing the fuse. Keep the fuse out for approximately 10 seconds and replace it to its original slot.

It's your wiring, you are putting a Nissan radio into a Toyota so the wiring must be screwed up in there somewhere. The fuse is blowing because a power wire is grounding. recheck the diagrams and correct.

Try changing the 20 amp fuse, its in the fuse panel on the driver side of the dashboard. The horn and radio are on the same fuse!

There is also a 10amp fuse in the back of the radio itself .undo two screws under radio fascia pullof fascia then undo four screws holding stereo in .my fuse had blown soon as replaced radio and heater worked
