Where in the world can you find tundra?
Alaska, the north pole, Antarctica, northern parts of Canada and Russia, Greenland.
There are 3 types of Tundra: Arctic, Antarctic and Alpine. Arctic Tundra is found very high in the northern hemisphere, just above the Taiga belt, in the northern parts of countries cuch as Canada, and Russia. Antarctic Tundra is found on Antarctica as well as on some of its subantarctic islands. Alpine Tundra is found on many high mountains above the tree line, all over the world.
"Tundra" is an enviormental feature. There is tundra in both western and northern Alaska. I believe there may even be tundra in Anchorage. To find large amounts of tundra you would have to travel either beyond the mountain ranges to the west of Anchorage or farther than Fairbanks to the north of Anchorage.
