On any car or engine, you can always start at the fuel injector or carbourator and follow the line leading to it backwards till you find any part of the fuel system your looking for, including modified ones. This should only take a few minutes and has the advantage of exposing any other things (like pressure regulators, etc) also in the system that may have caused a problem. Uh...this also works from the gas tank and following it forward...or anywhere along the system you want to start!
The power of the engine and the maximum speed of the 1978 Honda Accord 1600 are 84 bhp and 60 mph respectively.
At least for my 83 V65 the fuel pump rests directly beneath the seat and above the pivot for the rear swing arm. Access it from the top, remove the two bolts on either side from the top, disconnect the power, turn off the fuel petcock, and disconnect fuel lines to remove the pump.
Bad fuel pump diaphragm or excessive cranking with out starting . If it's alot look at fuel pump .
prob your fuel pump relay
its inside the fuel tank, just lower fuel tank and its removed from on top the fuel tank.
ITS LIKELY THE RELAY...OR A FUSE ON THE PANEL BY DRIVERS DOOR...BUDDY MACK
Yes. 84-89 LeBaron fuel pumps are interchangeable.
it would be in the relay box under the hood
The fuel pump on the 84 3.8 v6 regal is mounted on the front driver side of the motor, behind the water pump, between the power steering and pollution pump. Removing pumps and brackets may be required.
Passenger side lower front bottom corner.
Yes, there is a rod that the camshaft pushes against the rod coming out of the fuel pump.
On right side (pass) side of motor, down low on front.
Which fuel pump? There are two fuel pumps on it. One is one the gas tank. Which you have to drop the gas tank and get to it. And the other one is bolted to the frame right under the drivers side door.
There are two kinds of fuel pumps that your pickup can have, Mechanical, or Electric. More than likely you have a Mechanical, the Mechanical fuel pump is located on the side of the engine (pretty easy to replace), you can follow the fuel line from the fuel filter down to it, and just google an image of a mechanical fuel pump you will find it. If your fuel pump is Electrical it will be in the gas tank, or tanks if you have dual tanks. For Electrical, you will have to take off the fuel lines to the tank, unstrap it and remove it from the pickup to in order to remove the pump.
fuel pump relay, fuel pump, fuel filter, mass airflow sensor, iac valve
I dont know for sure where the fuel filter is on an 88 accord,I used to own an 84 accord and it had 2 of them. One was the main located inside rear drivers side tire near gas tank.the backup was on drivers side in engine compartment on left side of carb..hope this helps.
it is located on the driver side underneath the engine. its circular in look with two lines one leading to the carburetor. two bolts leading into the engine. also there is a rod inside the mechanical fuel pump.
It may be that your fuel pump has gone out.
probably the sending unit in the gas tank attached to the fuel pump module is not working. you will need to most likely order fuel pump w/ sending unit Answer: The float is made of brass and over time they leak and sink causing the fuel gauge to read empty. The '84-'85 Bll 2.8L did not have a fuel pump in the tank.
pop the hood. when you are standing in front of the motor you will see the fuel line coming out of the carb. follow that down to the passenger side of the motor. there you will see the fuel pump. you may need to remove the smog pump, to get access to the fuel pump bolts. just remember to replace the fuel filter as well. best to be safe then sorry. also helps you to remember that you have replaced it. in case you haven't done that yet.
on an 84 Toyota the oil pump is located behind the harmonic balancer
please help how to adjust valves for 84 Honda golwing 1200 cc thanks
The firewall, to to upper left corner, behind intake. On '84-87 models, it is typically located under the 1/4-panel just past the fuel fill.
