Hi! 2004 astra 1.4 16 valve enjoy model is an egr valve fitted to this model? (enjoy) thanks
The EGR valve on the 1.7CDTI Astra 53Plate is near the throttle body. It is on the driver's side of the engine.
The EGR valve on a 2001 Astra 1.8 SRI is located on the intake manifold. It is at the rear of the engine.
on the right hand side back of engine
Generally the p0400 is due to faulty EGR valve, however make sure that you check the valve before you change it. Also have a close look at MANIFOLDS for leaks , both inlet and Exaust . Exhaust Manifold - as the sensors informs the ecu to open EGR valve when presure is built up, if there is a leak then the pressure is not enough to make this happen. Cleaning the EGR valve also works. This also happens if the manifold is blown.
The EGR valve is located at the front of the h22a4 engine. The EGR valve is right beside of the front of the EGR valve.
Yes, the EGR valve, or port EGR
take your rocker cover off n behind you will see the valve fixed by 2 torx screwws, unplug the cable running into it first then take the valve out and vice-versa to get new one in.
I know on my DTI estate its either a 8 or 9 mil socket (Mines a 02 model) turn socket left (there is two bolts look like stars) disconnect black tube from old EGR gently pull old EGR out of its place. (Then do the whole process in reverse. ) I must stress in treating this EGR with care .(Make sure you replace the EGR in the same position of the old one.)
It doesn't have an egr valve.
There is no EGR valve on an Aspire.
As I recall, that engine does not have an EGR valve.
