If it is a 1993 Mazda MX-6 2.5L Like the one I have the fuel pump is located inside the tank. You have to Remove the pre muffler silencer and heat shield to access it. Once you Unbolt the straps and drop the tank, disconnect the fuel lines and relay and unscrew it counter-clockwise.
The fuel pump relay switch, on your Mazda automobile, is located on the outside of the gasoline tank. The relay switch will be just above the fuel line.
Either the fuel pump isn't working properly or the fuel filter is plugged.
Fuel pump relay is at the top right in the under hood fuse box. It's green colored
All MX-6 fuel pumps are located in the fuel tank. They are only accessible fromthe top of the tank. You need to disconnect everything and lower the fuel tank. Hope this Helps, '94 MX-6 LS Owner
The fuel safety switch in a 1994 Mazda MX6 is located on the inside of the fuel tank. This is very tricky to locate, so it would be better to leave it up to the professionals toÊmaintain.
on the driver side you have to remove the intake hose, follow the fuel line going to the fuel rail and you'll find it.
Follow fuel line from tank
think its in the gas tank but doing that repair calls for a chilton manual buy the chilton no haynes they suck....
Open the Dash at the bottom and then look to the bottom left of the relay panel
The safety fuel shut off location on a 1991 Mazda MX6 is under the dash. It is on the far right side in front of the passenger seat.
Its gas, old gas can be used. It's a pain to drop the tank to remove gas and I wouldn't recommend draining it via running the fuel pump and flowing it into a can either, too dangerous. If you absolutely must pump out the gas, get a siphon pump and pump it out the fuel neck.
its under the radio
