Where is oil dipstick located on a Mercedes c 240?
You may not have an oil dipstick with this model of Benz. My C240 (2001) instead has electronic oil level measuring software that you access through the electronic dash display. Refer to you're owner's manual for the correct sequence of steering wheel buttons to push (with the ignition on). good luck I have a 2002 c 240. Turn the engine off, ignition on, use the button on your steering wheel to navigate to the place where is shows you car mileage, then us the arrow button to get to the 'oil dipstick'. There isn't one like in the older cars, it's all automatic.
i was going to buy a hand pump to extract the oil out of my car through the dipstick ,any way they claim that this is how Mercedes dealers do it.If you remove the large plastic mud guard located underneath the motor (6 small screws) you'll see the drain plug near the front of the car on the driver's side of the oil pan.
