Most F&Ws that HAD a serial number had it stamped on the butt- and stamped on the rear of the cylinder. LEGALLY, the one on the butt is the serial number. Many older guns did not have serial numbers, especially lower cost guns.

Forehand Arms was the successor company to Forehand & Wadsworth. They were in operation from 1890 to 1902. Not aware of any serial number database for them. Sorry.

How old is a Forehand Arms 32 caliber six shot revolver Pat'd Dec 7 86 Jan 1 87 with FW on the grips?

Forehand & Wadsworth changed their name to Forehand Arms Co. and was eventually taken over by Hopkins & Allen. Unfortunately without the serial number it is hard to narrow down an exact age. I can tell you it was produced between 1887 and 1915.

How old is a forehand Hopkins and Allen arms co 12 model 147576?

Sorry, that is a serial number, not a model number. Forehand & Wadsworth was acquired by Hopkins & Allen in 1902. Due to a number of problems, the H&A company closed for good in 1917. Your shotgun is likely from the time between those two dates.

In what year was my forehands .32 caliber break open revolver serial 218808 made?

Unfortunately, there are no serial number records in the public domain- since that company went out of business one hundred fifteen years ago. The name changed from Forehand and Wadsworth to Forehand in 1890, and they sold the business to Hopkins and Allen in 1902. Please note that guns of that time period were meant for black powder cartridges. Shooting them with modern higher powered smokeless cartridges is generally not a good idea.
