Where is the ABS fuse located on a 1997 Ford club wagon?
Ford usually places their fuseblock beneath the dashboard on the driver's side to the left. It's located high on the firewall to remain out of sight.
The other type of fuse could be a fusable link, which will actually be part of the wiring running to the ABS control unit. You'll see it as you follow the wire from the fuse block to the controller. Look for a large yellow, red, blue, black section that's a few inches in length and three or four times the diameter of the wire. Those usually are cut out and replaced with another unit.
Another type of fuse holder again can be in the wiring, but it'll be square in shape, about 1/2" thick and an inch or so wide with what looks like a flip top cover.

2003 Mercury Sable GS 3.0 Liter V6 it is making a noise like a chirping sound on the driver side engine compartment?
Just had this problem on a 1997 Sable wagon, same engine. The noise is coming from the camshaft synchronizer - The part from Ford is anywhere from $150 plus about $15 shipping (online) to $197 at my local Ford dealer. A Dorman brand product is available for around $60.00, but from onliine Taurus club and Ford truck club discussion, sounds like these don't hold up. You will likely also need the camshaft position sensor. Recommend…
