The intake air temperature sensor is located in the air intake system. The system uses a plastic housing which flows throughout the engine bay. The sensor will be mounted near the air filter box.
The 2001 Chevy Cavalier IAT sensor can be found on the right side of the transmission. The sensor will be near the front of the transmission.
On a 1998 Cavalier, the IAT sensor is located in the hose connecting the air cleaner to the throttle body. The IAT is a two-wire sensor.
The 1990 Chevrolet Corvette IAT sensor does have two wires. The sensor has a ground wire and a positive wire.
The IAT sensor on a 2005 Hyundai is found inside the engine compartment. The sensor is plug into the air box for the air filter.
The IAT sensor is located is an intergral part of the the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor
Between the air filter and the throttle body. IAT is short for Intake Air Temp.
where is the iat sensor on my Mazda 6 located and does anyone have a pic to compare
The 1995 model did not use a Idle air tempture sensor ( IAT ) Did not need one for that fuel system.
The IAT ( idle air temperature ) sensor is built in to the MAF ( mass air flow ) sensor.
It is part of the MAF located on the air box
The IAT (intake air temperature) sensor should be in the air intake snorkel between the MAF (mass air flow) sensor and the throttle body.
its part of the MAFS
