Pull blower its up inside hole
If you have the auto temp syste, the blower resistor block has failed.
The resistor is to the left of the blower, it is very hard to get to. You'll have to almost stand on your head to change it.
This happened on my wife's 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee. She took it in to Chrysler for diagnostics and they found the blower motor resistor was bad and replaced it. part no# 5143127-AA Resistor Blower - 803502 $11.12 Electrical System Tech labor $149.21 It worked.
the resistor is gonna be right off the blower motor attached to the blower motor by a wire harness should be by the heater core
sometimes this is caused by the blower resistor heating up and shutting the circuit down, or it could be in the blower itself heating up and shutting down.
Blower resistor pack broken?
The blower motor is failing and drawing too many amps.
maybe blown fuse or the connection in the blower resistor is damaged or the blowre resistor module is burn out the blower resistor is located in front passinger under the dach boared
blower motor bad or no power to it chech fuses blower switch blower motor
it is under the clove box behind the blower motor you will see it if you look its a black box
Test the resistor bank before getting into anything else. These are the speeed controls for the blower motor.
passenger side floorboad behind the relay panel in the dash
Usually if the resistor is bad the heater will only run on full blast.
If the blower only works on high the blower resistor is most likely the problem and should be replaced. On rare occasions if the car has blown the resistor more than once the blower motor shouuld be replaced.
I mean how do you disassemble the fan blower in a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. how do you remove the blower fan from the car in the Grand Jeep Cherokee Laredo.
The blower motor resistor is mounted in the heater box directly behind the dash glove box. Remove the contents of the glove box and push in on both sides of the glove box stops. The glove box door will fold down exposing the resistor. Remove the two screws holding the resistor in the heater box to remove the resistor.
where to find heater resistor 2004
the heater resistor is located under the passenger sides dash (near the passengers feet). there is an access panel that you pull off. some have clips holding it on, some have screws. the blower resistor is located in the blower box. the resistor itself you will not be able to see, only the connector. usually there is about 5 wires on this connector and they are in a row. disconnect the connector, there is usually 1 or 2 screws that hold the resistor in the blower box. remove screws, remove resistor from the blower box. reverse procedure for reassembly. .
Bad Blower motor fuse Bad blower motor resistor Bad blower motor Bad switch Evaporator plugged- not allowing air flow
It is located under the dash on the passenger side. The blower is located on the right side and has a two wire connector, the resistor is to the left of the blower. It is held by two screws, and has a four pin connector. Disconnect the connector, unscrew the two screws, and the resistor drops out.
Replace the blower motor resistor block. It is located under the dash on the passenger side.
Resistor is located behind the blower motor assembly.
The blower motor resistor is located right beside the blower motor which is on the right side of the instrument panel. You'll have to remove the lower insulator panel to see it. Remove the wiring connector and I believe there is 3 screws that hold the resistor in
The blower motor resistor circuit board has gone bad. Replace the blower motor resistor. I did Still dont work Try the fuses...Had the same problem and it was a blown fuse.
