I own a 1990 F-150 with a 302. When i had to replace mine, it was hidden underneath intake manifold, so check around there, i know we have have trucks that are 4 years apart with different enginges but hey, maybe you'll get lucky. DIRECTLY BEHIND THE INTAKE MANIFOLD. LOOK AT THE PASSENGER SIDE VALVE COVER ALL THE WAY TOWARDS THE FIREWALL, A HOSE WILL COME OUT OF IT AND LEAD DIRECTLY TO THE PCV VALVE, FROM THERE IT GOES BACK INT THE INTAKE MANIFOLD. CLIMB ON THE FRONT BUMPER AND LEAN IN!
I have a 1994 Suburban with the 7.4 litre 454 cubic inch engine and the PCV valve is located in the right (passenger) side valve cover.
The EGR valve on a 1994 Chevy 1500 is located on the top of the engine. If the valve becomes stopped, the engine could idle rough or stall.
It is probably located on top of the valve cover on the right hand side of the engine.
