The pcv valve is on the drivers side top of the engine. It is a screw in type, with a single hose connected to the rear of it.
Screws into the valve cover.
sohc or dohc?
NO
The PCV valve on the 2004 Dodge Neon is located on the driver's side of the valve cover. It is a black plastic that matches the plastic of the valve cover. Just look for the hose that leads out of it into the intake manifold. It is easily removed by unscrewing it.
Attached to the valve cover is a hose on the driver side. Unscrew the nut closest to the valve cover and that is the PCV valve. It is a straight PCV valve, not the elbow shape you may be looking for.
I have 1 1999 Dodge Neon Sport and the PCV valve is located on a hose that comes out of the Valve cover. The hose is very brittle (possibly due to heat) and can crack when you try to replace the PCV valve so be prepared to replace the hose, clamps, etc. as well.
The PCV valve is located on the side of the engine closest to the radiator. It is accessed between the two exhaust pipes closest to the drivers side.
On the driver side of the valve cover, threaded into the valve cover. See attached pic.
Check valve cover, it has a vac hose if that helps.
These cars have a non serviceable pcv valve system, meaning the dealer does not list a part to be serviced or replaced.
the pcv valve is on the ight hand or drivers side of the valve cover with a rubberhose connected to it it is shaped like a nut or bolt head so u can tighten it it just a plastic check valve. there like $6 at dodge.
