The PCV is located on the driver's side of the engine. It is at the same level as the spark plugs, in the middle of the engine. It is not seated in the oil cover. It is seated in the oil diverter.

The PCV valve on a 1992 Ranger 3.0 V6 is on the drivers side and fits into the manifold cover near the firewall. There are 2 hoses which conect to the top of the PCV Valve.

It is located behind (toward the rear of truck) The oil add chamber on the passanger side valve cover. Pull the hose out of the valve cover and there you'll find the PCV Valve
