In a 1992 Dodge Dakota with the second character of the vin a "B" it'll have a 3.9 L (238 cu in) V6 engine.
The dealer should be able to tell from the vin number.
It is located on the left front corner of the dash and on a label in the driver door jamb.
Check the vin number there should be a "z" in the 8th spot on the vin number
3.9L v6
It may be a 3.9L, 4.7L or 5.9L V8. My 2002 Dakota Quad Cab 4x4 is a 5.9L. I suggest running the VIN number (it's free) and usually it will tell you the size of the engine...
I could not find any transmission related recalls on a 2004 Dodge Dakota. If you call your local dealer with the VIN, they will check the Chrysler computer system for any open recalls on your vehicle for free.
Call your local Dodge dealer with #'s.
You could just call the service department of a Dodge dealership and let them look it up by the VIN.
You can not. It is a one time program.
The dealers scanner is the one required.
if you have a question if you vehicle has or had a recall call you local dealer with your vin and the have to tell you
