The air filter casing is the engine compartment behind the drivers side headlight. It is inside the air tube that is attached to the intake throttle body.
underneath the drivers door
usually a fuel filter is inline along the frame twords the fuel tank.......
on the main gas line that goes to the injectors.
On Drivers side. Toward the rear of the vehicle.
In the fuel tank, integral to fuel pump.
It's under the car in the middle in front of the fuel tank
filter is located under car behind rear seat drivers side, by the axle
for my 1974 firebird 5.7L 350, it is the oil filter mounting bracket (aka the housing the oil filter goes into)
You have to pull the tranny pan off and it's under the pan.
Roughly 4.5 quarts with a filter change.
This may have to do with the fuel filter that resides inside of the fuel tank.My mother had a 1995 Camaro with the exact same problem. You need to drop the fuel tank and change the clogged filter
Inside the carburetor and another under the driverside door along the frame rail.
There ain't no 2003 Pontiac Firbird repair manuals available yet. What happened to your owner manual? If you own a 2003 Firbird you can afford to go get the oil changed at Quik Copy. Make sure you watch and learn where the plug and filter is located. It's a cheap learning lesson. There's no such thing as a 2003 Firebird! They were last made in 2002. As for the location of the drain plug and filter, you can probably find it in an online manual. Just do a web search for 2002 Pontiac Firebird Owner's Manual. If it's not in there, join a Firebird discussion group/message board like Firebird Nation or something.
on the left hand side frame rail approx under back seat
check under the driver's side, on the fuel line, somewhere near the tank.
simple..... drain oil from drain pan and change filter a small plug on the pan is what your looking for
I've had a problem with my O2 sensor and air filter causing my 1998 firebird to misfire.
it's located on the driver side almost in the middle of the car.i just repalced mine.
no, there are two-one near the carbeurator**and the other by the fuel tank ** The car is fuel injected
if it is a Pontiac engine it will take 5 quarts, 6 quarts with a filter change.
take the air breather off, look for the gas line, it should be in the carb. hope this helps
Drop transmission oil pan- filter is held on by 2 short bolts - make sure you replace the "O" ring in the filter Clean pan Replace pan gasket
On my 79 the fuel filter sits in the front of the carb, where the fuel line comes in. It looks like part of the carb but you have to unscrew the fuel line and the filter will be inside the end of the carb or the tube depending on which side it sticks to. This is all assuming you still have the quadra-jet carb on the car of course.
The fuel filter for that model and year is found in the carburetor. Follow up the fuel line from the fuel pump and you will find a large nut fitting that the line threads into. Remove this and you will find a cartridge filter.
The 1994 firebird V8 5.7 liter use a TG30. This stands for a Fram Tough Gaurd 30 oil filter. The numbers in front of the 30 can be different, but it has to have a 30 after them. Also if you go to your local auto parts store, they can tell what filyer you need.
