Where is the air filter on a 1996 Chrysler Sebring?
If it is like the 97 is is just in front of the battery.. it is a big black box.. to be sure find the big black hose right on top of the engine and follow it down, it should lead you to a visible filer (cone shaped etc.) or the filter box. it has 1 latch on each side I believe.

Yes it does, the cabin air filter is located behind and above the glove compartment. To access it open the glove box and release the clip on the right side near the hinge. The Cabin air filter is covered by a retaining plate which you just pull off. In some cases the filter is not installed when the vehicle is purchased as it is an option. a replacement filter costs $25.00 to $40.00.
To replace the transmission solenoid pack on a 1998 Chrysler Sebring, remove the air filter box, the battery, and the battery tray. Remove the 4 bolts on the frame and the trans cooler lines. The solenoid pack is screwed to the to the transmission with 3 10 mm bolts. Remove the solenoid pack and replace it.?æ
Unscrew the large air hose from the air filter housing at both ends using a screw driver. It is tight, and you may have to disconnect the electrical wires above it for room. Once the large hose is loose, pull it away from the housing, and pull the round tube style air filter straight out. Replace and make sure all connections are reconnected.
