Where is the bank 1 sensor 1 O2 sensor located on a 2000 Honda Civic DX?
their just numbered, and theres two..i think..better check everyone should have a manual for their vehicle, and the library should have a professional shop manual available in the reference section for FREE to make copies of...read up and fix like a pro!! :) Dave That car has a 4 cylinder engine, so there is no bank #2 on the car. It only states bank #1, because that is a formality of the terminology required by federal emmissions law. On that car bank 1, sensor 1 would be the oxygen sensor closest to the engine. It could be in the exaust manifold, or just after it. The bank 1 sensor 2 would be the one further down the exaust system, just after the catalytic convertor.
Is ckf crank fluctuation sensor and ckp crankshaft positioning sensor same for Honda Civic vtech sport 2000?
No the ckf and the ckp are not the same sensor for a 2000 Honda civic. The crank fluctuation sensor is behind the crank pulley and can be changed fairly easy with some mechanical knowhow when the timing belt is done. The crank position sensor is built into the distributor. To change this sensor you would have to rebuild the inside of the distributor or replace the entire distributor. Hope this answers your question.
It does have a fuel filter, it is located to the right of the battery. Go to this site: http://www.hondahookup.com/manuals/ sign up and download the repair manual free. It will explain how to replace it. Previous answers: "According to my Honda Dealer and American Honda Co. the 2000 Honda Civic does not have a fuel filter, it has a "strainer" located inside the fuel tank before the fuel enters the Fuel Pump."
