It is just above the brake pedal. The switch rests against the brake pedal lever.

ALL brake light switches on ALL cars in the world are and have to be mounted on the brake cylinder. P.S. This is true for trucks, motorbikes, and little red wagons that are equiped with brakes. If you don't know this and why it is true don't mess with the thing until you get educated about brake systems!
