To print screen on a HP laptop (mine is a Compaq NX7400) locate a key with fn on it. On the NX7400 this is on the bottom row , second key from the left after ctrl. Hold down the fn key whilst also hitting the key on the top right of the keyboard which is named both insert and prt sc. I think you need to use the blue fn key to make any of the function keys perform the function in the blue box. Hope this is helpful!
