crank sensor should be next to front main pulley, cam should be mounted to one of the heads...:) a manual will help with diagnosis and repair, and a shop manual should be available at the local library in the reference section, make copies of the right pages, good luck...:)

On a 94 Turbo DSM there is no crank angle sensor. The Cam Angle Sensor(CAS)serves the function of both a crank and cam sensor, and it's located on the passenger side of the valve cover at the end of the intake camshaft, you can't miss it.
Not sure about the 1994 but the 1997 3.0L crank sensor is reached from underneath on the passenger side. It 's bolted into the block (of course) just above the cv axle on the passenger side and just above the catalytic converter. You will need an 8mm socket or wrench.
