Where is the cam timing sensor on a Ford Ranger?

I found this picture of a Standard Motor Products camshaft position sensor for a 2002 Ford Ranger 2.3L under Ignition in the catalog: Pictures for the other Ranger engines are probably also available in the catalog (go to Ignition and hit "More Info" next to the part). Knowing what the part looks like should help you track it down.

On oil pump casing behind the timing cover I'm pretty sure.

Both, timing belt from cam to diesel pump. Timing chain from cam to crankshaft.

The cam (timing) belt should last for the life of the vehicle. A Ford Ranger has a smaller motor, that with the right care, should not have to have the cam belt changed.
