Lorenz University is a scam and a fake. No doubt about it. They are part of the Belford/Rochville/Corllins/Woodfield system of scams. This is a bogus company operated from the UAE and run by illiterates from Pakistan.

The BBB reports 172 unresolved complaints from customers. 172 unresolved complaints is despicable!

You see, the whole purpose of online education is to eleminate the need of maintaining heavy infrastructure such as buildings and classrooms for a limited number of students. I would be very cautious about this institution. There is just too much controversy about this institution. As far as the United States, the school is not recognized by any regional accrediting agency. There are much better choices out there; many excellent schools to choose from. Personally, I would not make this one of them.

Lorenz University is a private institution that does not follow the procedure from the Departments of Education in each State. Lorenz's Credentials can be accepted in many places but also it can not be accepted in some. It all depends on the workplace, or institution who is asking the credentials. Just like ITT Tech. ITT it is accredited in the whole US country, but only where they have offices. Lorenz University's Administrative Office is located on Bethlehem , PA . But like Lorenz's web page says. It is an on-line University.

Geographical location is quite irrelevant for an online university. They might have office or may be several offices in each State. But these offices are not campuses and only facilitate administrative functions or admissions.

A legitimate organization would be glad to identify itself and disclose where it is at. It's obviously located outside the U.S. and our laws can't touch it or help get a remedy if called for.
