Hey Robert==I am quite sure it is in the distributer. GoodluckJoe there is no distributer on this car as it has a crank pickup sensor coil packs and a cam positioning sensor, the cam positioning sensor does slip in just as the old distributer does but it only has a plug on top of the engine, it is located on the top front of the engine under the air conditioning pump bracket it will have one bolt with an over sized washer holding it on and one plug to unhook the wires and it will pull straight up and out of the engine.
