Which computer module are you looking for? There are numerous computers for various functions in that car. You should use extreme caution in touching any of them. Those computers are usually the most reliable of any car computer, rarely causing problems. I do not know why you would want to find it, but be certain there is a problem with them before you touch them. The wiring harnesses are delicate in some connectors. Some of the computers are very vital to safety systems within the vehicle and sometimes require special procedures to be followed when removing them. I would definitely check with Ford first, give them your VIN number to look up the car, as some editions of towncar may have different computers.

The 2003 Lincoln Town Car power control module is located on the firewall, in the engine compartment. The module will be on the drivers side of the firewall.
On the firewall to the right (when facing the firewall) of the blower motor.

No, the solenoid pack is part of the transmission. The powertrain control module is the engine computer.

where is the wiper module located on a 1996 town car
I had this happen to my 1999 town car. There is a computer lighting module which controls the action of the lights. A bad module causes lights not to respond to switches ( the switches don't turn on the lights directly, but send a signal to the computer lighting module). This unfortuantely is an expensive replacement.
it is bolted to the side of the distributor
