The Coilpack is located under the intake manifold. It is accessible from under the car or if you have real bendy arms you can remove the air filter box and get to it from there.
the crankshaft position sensor is located right behind the harmonic balancer mounted on the timing cover
If you look at the plug wires you will see were they hook to the coils.
The harmonic balancer is located on the front of the crankshaft
There are two of them. One is located directly behind the harmonic balancer or on older models beside it, and it looks like a half moon shape. If it is behind the balancer you have to pull the balancer and the sensor is held there with 2 bolts. The other one i can not find and can not find anything on it really. Sorry.
under ur coilpack
it is the first one in line at the front of car
by the harmonic balancer
It is located on the harmonic balancer.
Found it . Located beneath exhaust maniflod on front of block towards transmission.(white and brown wire)
Assuming that it is a 3.1 V6, as most of them are, there is no cam sensor. Only a crankshaft sensor. It is located behind the harmonic balancer. To replace it the balancer has to be removed.
behind the harmonic balancer.
Look by the balancer.
It is located behind the harmonic balancer on the front of the engine. You'll need a special puller to remove the balancer.
The harmonic balancer on Mitsubishi engines is located as an integral part of the crank pulley (I have experience with the 90-99 4G63 inline-4 Mitsu engines; other engines by this marque may differ).
Behind the harmonic balancer.
It is in the timing cover, just behind the balancer. 1 bolt holds it in.
It is located behind the crankshaft harmonic balancer pulley on the bottom front of the engine. The right lower splash shield and harmonic balancer pulley must be removed to replace it.
Simple description: The crank sensor sends information to the ECM so that it knows when to fire the plugs. It is located behind the harmonic balancer. It requires removing the balancer in order to remove and replace it.
behind the harmonic balancer
front of engine behind harmonic balancer
On the 3.8 litre engine its located on the forward side under the harmonic balancer. You need to pull the balancer to replace the sensor. The magnetic pick-up on the sensor rides in the stainless steel stotted track on the rear of the balancer.
Yes, located toward the bottom ot the engine at the end of the crankshaft. Mazda used an integrated harmonic balancer/belt pulley.
ALL harmonic balancers for ALL American car engines (and all other vehicle engines that I know of) are in the same place. They're integral to the front engine pulley that drives the serpentine belt or fan-belt, whichever your engine has. Yours has a serpentine belt. Some shops call it the "harmonic balancer", others call it the "harmonic balancer pulley", still others just call it the "front pulley". It's the same thing.
The big pullye that drives the power steering, alternator, AC, etc, is called a "harmonic balancer". It connects to the crankshaft to drive all those accessories.
