on a 1990 Cherokee it is passenger side, halfway down the radiator, best way to get to it is remove the grille.

The Jeep Cherokee radiator drain plug is plastic and very fragile. You should remove the lower radiator hose to drain the cooling system.

Should be a plug either at the bottom or rear of radiator

Should be on the bottom or rear of radiator or remove lower radiator hose

If you take the grill off of the front of the vehicle you should be able to see the radiator. Look on the passenger side of the radiator, your wing nut type plug should be on the side of the radiator. The Jeep Cherokee radiator drain plug is plastic and very fragile. You should remove the lower radiator hose to drain the cooling system.

Nowhere. My 2004 doesn't have one. You'll just have to detach the lower hose from the radiator and drain it from there.

i just drained mine and it was at the bottom of the rad

The drain plug is on bottom of radiator. the cylinder block drain plug, located on the side of cylinder block below the exhaust manifold. The above answer is only for the radiator drain plug.

On the lower END of the radiator, passenger (right) side. However, this info is NOT useful, as it is well nigh impossible to access with tools or fingers. You can see it (with a mirror), but that's it! Better plan on removing the lower hose to drain. The Jeep Cherokee radiator drain plug is plastic and very fragile. You should remove the lower radiator hose to drain the cooling system.

The engine drain plug for 6 cylinder is on the lower left side of engine block.

The drain plug is on the bottom of the tank, drivers side but hard to see. But, if you cant find it, just disconnect the lower radiator hose and let it drain from there, that would do it, and its faster.

You can see it through the grill or behind the passenger side headlamp surround. Jeep Cherokee radiator drain plugs are plastic and very fragile. You should simply remove the lower radiator hose instead of using the drain plug.AnswerRemove front headlight trim and grill, passenger side, lower side of radiator, is a hollow hex drain plug Answeryes the drain is on the lower left but its easier to remove the air cleaner box and pull off the lower hose going to the radiator to drain it.

It does not have a drain plug. You have to remove the oil pan to drain the transmission.

Many vehicles no longer use a radiator drain plug, since so many of them are corroded shut by the time you need to use them. But if your vehicle DOES have a radiator drain plug it will be somewhere on the bottom, usually facing the engine side of the radiator. BTW, if you can't find a working radiator drain plug, just remove the bottom radiator hose. Apparently who ever wrote this answer didn't read the question. The question is about a AC drain plug not a radiator drain plug. I am looking for the same thing so please can someone correct this answer.

On the bottom of the radiator is a large drain plug.

Behind the right side headlight surround. Remove the trim around the light and the turn signal. Then remove the turn signal. Follow the wiring harness from the turn signal into the hole behind it. The drain valve is RIGHT there! It may help to remove the headlight also. The Jeep Cherokee radiator drain plug is plastic and very fragile. You should remove the lower radiator hose to drain the cooling system.

If you are looking to drain the Radiator, the drain plug is on the bottom right (passenger side) of the Radiator. To access the drain you must remove the Rt headlight / turn signal bezel to get to it. There is also a drain in the engine block on the drivers side. It requires removing a pipe plug and it taps directly into a water jacket.

The transmission does not have a drain plug. You have to remove the oil pan to drain.

The oil drain plug is on the bottom of the oil pan.

The radiator drain plug should be located on the bottom of the radiator on the passenger side. Open that, let the old coolant flow into a drain pan, replace the drain plug once the coolant is out and the radiator is flushed, then fill it up through the radiator cap.

The Chevrolet Malibu radiator drain plug can be found on the right side of the radiator. The drain plug will be at the bottom of the radiator.
