A 96 Chevy Beretta Z26 has a 3100 V6 engine. The oil drain is located on the bottom of the oil pan, on a slight angle pointing down and towards the rear.
On the front left of the engine.
Underneath the engine block.

oilpan on any engine is located at the bottom of the engine. it is the most lowest part of an engine, it bolts onto the bottom of the engine block
it may be the oil pressure sender located on the engine
I have a 92 beretta with a 3.1 litre engine. Just changed crank sensor. Didn't know there were two of them. As far as I know there is only one. It's located on the rear of the engine. Bout a inch above the oil pan. Extremely hard to see.
Naming the 3.8 engine and giving year of 'beretta' would certainly help.
bottom right engine sump
The drain plug is located on the bottom of your engine on the oil pan. That should be about in the middle of the engine on the very bottom
