The purge valve is connected to the intake manifold on 2001 and later models. If you look in the back you'll see where it's connected right behind the throttle with a small fitting and hose about 6 inches long. The Evap system is in the rear driver's side underneath behind the wheel. You'll see a big canister held up by 2 nuts. The Canister close valve and charcoal filter is in there.
Let me know if that helps. Ebuck7@Yahoo.com

It is located under the truck near the tank.
Under the truck bed but close to the fuel tank
It is up under the truck and mounted on a bracket in front of the fuel tank.
they are both located behind the front right corner of the bumper. there is the purge valve, vent solenoid, and charcoal canister all next to each other.
YOU WILL FIND IT MOUNTED ON A BRACKET UNDER THE TRUCK BY THE FUEL TANK
The purge unit is located at the condenser.
Rear passengerside near the rear axle are passenger rear tire.
The purge valve is on the intake passenger side of the throttle body. The vent solenoid should be on a cross member right behind the gas tank or somewhere in the general area (should have a red plug)
P0443, EVAP System Purge Control Circuit Malfunction. P0444
The EVAP vent valve/control solenoid is mounted on a bracket by the fuel tank. The EAVP purge valve/control solenoid is mounted on the front top of the intake manifold. Just behind the area where the throttle housing bolts to the front of the intake. It has an electric wires connected to it.
It could be have a restriction in the gas vapor purge system.
ours was hanging by the hose behind the intake manifold. not sure where it is supposed to be mounted.
