Doesn't the rear window washer use the same reservoir as the windcreen washers? It does on my 1998 Forester. If I keep the reservoir topped up regularly I am never in want of liquid for washing the rear window.
***I had a 2001 (and now have a 2003) Forester. The front and rear share the same fill tank. The 'pickup' for the rear is set higher so tf the fluid level gets low the rear stops working first.
It is pumped in from the front washer reservoir.
We answer this question here frequently. Same place as the front window washer tank, under the hood behind the battery. It is the same tank.
where to fill washer fluid back window 2012 kia sedona
Same place as you fill the front washer fluid. There is only one reservoir.
The rear window wiper uses the same fluid reservoir as the front, it just has a separate rear window pump attached to the fluid bottle under the hood.
it is at the top left when you open the trunk
You fill the reservoir under the hood.
The same place you fill the front. They both feed from the same tank.
There is only one Windsheild Washer fluid reservoir that serves both the front and back.
I believe that the front and rear window fluid are in the same place
front filler does the back as well.
Both the front and rear washer fluid comes from the same reservoir, at least on my 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee they do. Fill the reservoir under the hood.
Both the front and rear washer systems use the same reservoir that is under the hood.
The rear washer feeds from the same reservior as front, if you look you have 2 pumps in reservior.
There is no such thing as a 2005 festiva you Prolly have a fiesta...
After I fill up the washer bottle the low fluid light still stays on
Yes, fill the washer fluid.
it takes from the same container as the front - there is just a line running to the back.
You fill the rear washer same with the front. The reservoir is beside the battery and has 2 pumps, 1 for the front which is the bottom pump and the top is for the rear.
Open rear gate. On the drivers side you will find above the tail light a rubber plug. This is the opening/fill area for your rear window washer tank. If you look on the drivers side in the cargo area there should be a panel with 2 latches, open and take panel off - you will see the washer tank and be able to fill to correct level.
Both washer systems are fed from the same reservoir under the hood.
No, it comes form the same tank as the front.
Open the rear liftgate on a Mercury Sable wagon and you will see the rear window washer fluid reservoir fill plug near the bottom of the passenger side tail light
In my 2006 the rear window washer fluid shares the same tank as the front window washer. The operators manual also makes this statement. 1995 and before you fill the rear by opening the liftgate and adding fluid to the reservoir just above the left taillight. 1996 and later the front reservoir is for both.
Assuming it's the same as on the 4 door : Open your rear liftgate , and you will see a rubber plug on the drivers side above the taillight lense , that is where the rear washer fluid is added . I like to remove the plastic panel inside the cargo area on the drivers side so I can actually see the washer fluid tank ( where the wheel jack is located )
