The 1994 Toyota Corolla signal flasher relay switch is located beneath the drivers side dashboard. The signal flasher relay switch will be above the accelerator pedal.
The voltage regulator is an integral part of the alternator on that vehicle.
The hazard flasher unit for a 1991 - 1996 Saturn is located in the cabin, behind the front passenger kick panel. (Right side of center console.) The original unit is grey. It has a tab and release mechanism on the right side of the flasher.
If I am understanding correctly, it sounds like a pulley may be bound up. Thereby causing the belt to rub and make alot of friction thus causing melting. It could be any pulley in the serpentine system. Remove the belt and feel all pulleys for any play.
Follow the top radiator hose to the thermostat housing. There are two 13mm bolts holding it in. One may have a nut holding a bracket on. Remove the nut and bracket. Then remove the two bolts. Pull up on the housing....that's it.
I know for sure that it fits on 2005 Chevy Cavaliers, so think at very least 2002-2005.
