Up under the drivers side dash. Need to remove the floor panel on the drivers side - then put the flasher on feel for the clicking one - it is about 1/2 way up on the left and held to the dash with a clip.
There are two flasher relays on your vehicle, one for the turn signals, and one for the hazard lights. The turn signal flasher relay is located below the left hand side of the instrument panel. The hazard flasher relay is located under the steering column support.

there is not exactly a flasher relay for this car. technically your hazard switch is the flasher relay. you can get this "hazard switch " for about $30 on gmpartsdirect.com. i had to replace mine last year and i was also under the impression that i needed a flasher relay since the turn signal would just stay on. I had to fudge around with hazard switch push it a few time for the signals to work. that is when i figured it out that hazard switch is the flasher relay. i hope this helps.

The flasher relay for the turn signals on a 1997 Firebird is located under the dash on the passenger side of the steering column support. The hazard flasher relay is located under the dash on the driver's side of the steering column support.

There is no flasher can. There is a relay at the lower left in the fuse panel on the side of the dash. There is one relay that serves both hazard and turn.

The horn relay is located behind the center of the dash above the turn signal flasher. It will be located above a metal dash support bracket. C187 if you search the Ford Service Manual. Note: The hazard flasher is the flasher located in the fuse panel, not the turn signal flasher.
