The front O2 sensor is located at the bottom of the heat shield just before you get to the exhaust. It has a wire connected to it. Hard to miss. You will have access to this from the top of the car.

∙ 16y agoIt should be right below the header which is your exhaust pipe. You will see four cast iron pipes bolted to the engine. Follow that down to where they become one pipe ( 4 into 1). This where the rest of your exhaust pipe begins and you headers end. There you should find something sticking out of the pipe with 2 wires. That is your oxygen sensor (O2 sensor). All it does is measure the exhaust gases and tells the computer if those gases are within parameters, ie your running too rich with gasoline or not. You have 4 cylinders so you should have only one O2 sensor. However, there are some car models that use an upper and lower sensor. One farther up the exhaust pipe than the other.
