Only the 4 cylinder has a cutoff switch; you will need to refer to a HAYNES manual if you have the 4 cylinder. The cutoff switch on this model is for fuel enrichment; if you have other problems you may have a pump/relay problem.
Look on the inside pass firewall about 12 inches up from the floor and about 18 inches from the door.

is the cutoff switch a normally open or normally closed switch ? If it a normally closed switch as it should be then the switch will need to activate with the ignition in order to supply fuel. There could be a problem with the fuel cutoff relay or a fuse. Also if you are using a non factory key then this might also happen.
