the fuel filter on a felicia 1300 is located underneath the car, behind an exhaust shield and at the front end of the petrol tank.
at fuel tank
It's Solenoid "A" in the fuse box, which is in the passenger footwell, under the dashboard.
Do you have any mistake in difusor?
in the tank, remove rear seat swab, undo small plate pump under plate
Pull off electrical connectors to fuel injectors, there are 4 of them, turn the engine over on the ignition and the will momenteraly fire, stop engine ie take out key from ignition, replace electrical connectors to fuel injectors, turn key on ignition and with a bit of luck... vrmm....vrmmm....vrmmm Note this info applies to Skoda Felicia 1.3 MPI model.
Inside the fuel tank, you have to disassemble the tank to reach it, which is in the fuel pump also inside the tank.
the orange oil or fuel warning light normally indicates a filter wants changing
A 2000 Skoda Felicia 1.3 mpi has a timing chain. Not a timing belt. A timing chain. So buying a used felicia and not replacing it is not actually risky, as with a car with a timing belt. The chain of course will also develope 'slack', so it is a good idea to change it after so many klms, and/or if it as gotten too noisy. The possibility of the chain breaking is very very very slim. It WILL develope some slack though, and might jump a tooth, worsening performance and fuel economy. Parts are cheap for the felicia.
AnswerThese engines are a real pain for this. best thing you can do is never run out of fuel if you change fuel filter or any fuel part fill it with derv first and stop air getting in anywhere or you wont pull the fuel through on the battery. i find the best way is to slacken an injector off and tow it down the road 1/2 mile. failing that you can manually inject fuel into injector with a bottle and pipe. Most modern diesels have two fuel pumps; a 'lift pump', usually located in the fuel tank, and the 'high-pressure' injection pump, usually mounted on the engine. The most likely cause of fuel not getting to the filter is a failure in the 'lift pump', in the fuel tank, which supplies fuel to the high pressure pump. check all fuses.Phil.
the fuel filter is in the fuel tank the fuel filter is in the fuel tank the fuel filter is in the fuel tank the fuel filter is in the fuel tank
You will first need to open the fuel flap on the Skoda Superb by pressing on the left side of the flap. Once the flap is open take off the fuel cap by unscrewing it counterclockwise wise.
no. the air filter is to filter air, while the fuel filter is used to filter the fuel.
