The fuel filter is inside of a screw on canister that screws onto the fuel pump which is next to the oil filter on the drivers side of the engine. You will find it difficult to remove if it has been some years since the filter was last replaced. The fuel canister threads will weld themselves to the fuel pump and it will require the replacement of the pump along with the filter canister. Good thing is that the entire pump and filter/canister assembly cost around $35 from NAPA AUTO PARTS - Part Number: NFP M4008.
