The fuel filter is located on the left side of the firewall as you face your vehicle.
The big rubber engine air intake tube will go from the engine air filter to the engine throttle body
The last year Chevy used the tbi (throttle body injection) on the 4.3L was 1995. If you have the flat rectangular air filter located in the drivers side front corner of the engine compartment, it is cpi (central ported injection).
On the 4.0 liter V6 the big rubber engine air intake tube goes from the engine air filter to the throttle body located at the front / top of the engine
It is located at the throttle body on the end of the throttle shaft. The throttle body is on the intake manifold, the hose from the air filter ends up at the throttle body.
The location of the air filter varies with which engine your car has. If it is the 2.5L 4 cylinder engine the air filter is over the the throttle body. If your car has the 2.8L V6 with a carburetor the air filter is over the carburetor. If your car has the 2.8L V6 with fuel injection the air filter is in a canister mounted to the inner fender well on the passenger side.
If the engine has a carburetor the fuel filter will be where the fuel line connects to the carburetor. If the engine has fuel injection the fuel filter will be next to the fuel tank on the outlet tube.
The throttle body is where the carburetor would be on a non-fuel injected engine. Trace the air duct from the air filter to the engine, that's where you will usually find it.
the tube from air filter box hooks inti it at engine
You did not specify as to the engine size. Generally they are located in the air tube from the air filter to the throttle plate.
Type your answer here... The ENGINE air filter is located in the engine compartment , near the front , on the passenger side , inside the round shaped plastic air filter housing ( it connects to the big rubber engine air intake tube that goes to the engine throttle body ) P.S. it doesn't have a cabin air filter
Follow the big engine air intake tube from your engine air filter to the engine throttle body
