Where is the fuel filter located on a 1995 Oldsmobile Achieva?
Back by the fuel tank itself, look around and it is easy to get and replace
is it hard to change the water pump on a 1992 Oldsmobile achieva. Yes, it is very hard to replace a water pump on an Achieva. When the pump died on my 1996 Achieva, the engine needed to be unbolted and removed to get to it. As I recall, it cost about $500. I have a 95 Olds Achieva 3.1 and the water pump was very easy to change. Mine is on the front passenger…
You just put engine coolant on your 1995 Oldsmobile achieva and the engine coolant light wont turn off?
The Achieva has only one O2 sensor. It is located in the exhaust system very close to the engine. Look between the back of the engine and the firewall, while the engine is cold. Starting at the exhaust manifold, move toward the catalytic converter until you see a plug sticking out of the exhaust pipe with a cable or wiring coming out of it. That will be your O2 sensor. --mark
I have a 1995 Silhouette. If you're standing in front of your van, facing it, the oil filter is located at the left rear of the engine. I can best reach mine by lying down with by head at the rear of the passenger side front tire. Looking through the frame, you should be able to see it. It's a little tricky to reach, but not too bad. Hope this helps. JK
if you follow the lower rad hose, under the engine it connects to a metal pipe which goes up the back of the engine. the thermostat is located in that pipe where it joins to the water pump. I found yhe least frustrating way to change it is to remove the exhaust pipe and manifold, and you will be able to see the housing clearly.
