The previous stated location is correct. You can relieve the fuel pressure at the shrader valve which is located on your fuel railing above your fuel injectors. It looks exactly like the air valves on your tires with the same cap. Also you will need to purchase or rent a quick disconnect to remove the fuel lines from the filter. A set of hard plastic ones run about $12 and the metal ones go from $20-$30. If someone tells you to use a small screwdriver, don't do it, you can damage the tangs inside the line and all heck will break loose. .P.S. I don't know why this is in bold

The filter is located under the car on the passenger side about half way between the A and B pillars. Look under the passenger door abouit half way. The filter is protected by a bolt on cover.

the fuel filter is along side the frame just under the passenger door.

You need to loosen two bolts, and rotate the filter towards you. Then you will be able to loosen the fuel lines. Make sure your fuel pressure is disengaged! or fuel will spray all over you...the steps to that I forget but has to do with a computer of sorts in the trunks left side under the carpet, gotta unplug a cable and start the car, basically runs the gas out.
