The fuel filter is under the car on the right side, just ahead of the rear door. You can reach it without raising the car. It is on a small clamp with rubber connectors for intake and outlet. Remove the filter - it is a cyllindrical object about 8" long and 2 " dia with the projecting tubes at each end. The direction of fuel flow is marked on the filter. Some non-Daewoo filters, e.g. Fram, are supplied with a plastic locking tab on each end of the filter's pipe connections. These have to be removed before fitting.
Jack up the offside of the car, the fuel filter is located in the fuel line, and just in line with the rear door. Cut the retaining clips, but remenber to protect your eyes, remove the old filter and replace it with the new filter. It should take no more than 15 minutes
On the fire wall.

Most models of Daewoo Matiz hold 35 liters or 9 gallons of fuel. On average the Daewoo Matiz gets 33-40 miles per gallon. On a full tank of 9 gallons the car would get between 297 miles and 360 miles.
The fuel filter is located at the rear of the engine bay, at the top near the firewall. Take care removing and a special tool may be required.
