The fuel pump is located inside the gas tank. You have drop the tank to replace it.

Honda CRX was built from Honda Civic platform and shared many components with the Civic. All Honda CRX models have a mechanical fuel pump that can be easily located within the engine bay, making fuel-pump replacement much easier than on some newer cars.?æ

You can get an oem denso pump at rockauto.com for just over 100$

there is no such thing as a 92 crx. the last year they made was a 91 then to replaced by the del sol in 92. but the fuel pump on a crx is in the tank which you have to drop down from its hangers, and it is bolted down by about 8 10mm bolts on the top of the tank.

The 1988 Honda CRX was a new generation of the model. The exhaust from a 1988 will not fit on a 1987 model.

The ECU on 1988-1991 Honda CRX cars is located under the carpet at the passenger's feet. Four bolts hold a metal panel covering the ECU.

main relay switch may need to be changed.

The Si carries an 11.7 gal tank.

Inside the fuel tank mounted on top. Look in the trunk or under the rear seat for an access panel. If it does not have one the fuel tank will have to be removed in order to access the pump.

theres isn't one, it's a cable clutch

To remove the alternator on 1988 Honda CRX the negative battery must first be disconnected. The belt needs to be loosen and the mounting bolts need to be removed as well. When unmounted the alternator will slide off, and a new unit can be replaced.

Honda produced the CRX from 1983 to 1991. Honda is releasing a car in 2011 called the CR-Z, it is a hybrid remake of the CRX. Check it out!

Your 1987 Honda CRX might die at stops and have a low idle because of clogged fuel injectors or a clogged fuel filter. Sometimes a clogged air filter will also cause these problems.

if it's an si then it's in front of the left rear tire, next to the gas tank. If it's a DX or HF it's on the front of the engine.
