The 1985 Mercury Grand Marquis has a varying curb weight. It can be anywhere between 4,118 and 4,137 pounds depending on features.
Yes it will fit.
A grand marquis wiring diagram can be found in a Chiltons or Haynes auto repair manual.
Anything's possible (...but why?)
A person should know the firing order of their vehicle. The firing order of a 1985 Mercury Grand Marquis engine is 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8.
it's located under the steerinf wheel its a lil silver box with 2 wire plugs
I am working on the same problem. However, I do know it is located on the left side of the engine compartment when looking forward from the drivers seat. A small black, plastic housing covers it. Tom
Its located on the passenger side before the rear axle in the middle of the rear doors
Remove the throttlebody from the vehicle and use a wrench to remove the stud. Seperate the throttle body and the injectors should slide out
Look at the rear lower end of the engine
I'm not positive about the GRAND Marquis, but the Marquis does have an external voltage regulator. Located on the passenger side wheel well. It's a slim silver box that simply plugs in. Easy replacement...........
This year had a central fuel injection with the idle speed on the side of the throttle body in the form of a D.C. motor with mechanical adjustments.
Measure from the center of the front wheel to the center of the rear wheel.
Yes you can.
I have one with only 30k original miles and full service records. Everything is immaculate except for the head liner is sagging. Make me an offer. Ultracameron@yahoo.com
Check the fuel relays there are two of them on the driver side fender under the hood in a small plastic cover.
yes with a lower tire aspect ratio
I am guessing that this vehicle is the Marquis and not the Grand Marquis. I'm also guessing that it's a 6 cylinder engine. If I'm wrong, go to www.autozone.com and look under repair info, specifications, firing order for your specific vehicle. FIRING ORDER 1-4-2-5-3-6
Fuse panel is located below the steerign wheel to the left, under the removeable panel.
10w30 in the summer is good, and if in cold climates then 5w30 will do just fine.
Craig Marquis was born in 1985.
