Dodge doesn't use fuel safety/inertia switches. The fuel system is computer controlled with relays.

I pulled the carpet kit out of my 96 dodge 1500 and now the truck will not start. I can only assume it has something to do with the clutch safety switch being somehow interrupted. any ides on how to solve this problem would be greatly appreciated.
