Where is the fuse for the in-dash cigarette lighter in a 2004 pathfinder The one for the power accessory between the seats is in the fuse panel under the hood but this does not help the in-dash one?

You may have a bad ground at the lighter itself. Unhook the lighter and check for power at the back of lighter. You can replace the entire assembly for under 5.00.
