where is the fuse for the power window on 1996 buick century
You can troubleshoot the power antenna on a Lincoln Mark VIII by first checking the fuse. A blown fuse is the most common reason for an antenna not working properly.
In my 1989 century, its in the glovecompartment behind a small door with a hole in it. No 3 from top to the right. Problem with the antenna motor running after ignition cut? Hope you excuse my imperfect english. Ray Norway, Eu
Should be the same fuse as the radio
sound like a wire problum or u need to replace tha power antanna unit
The silver fuse type THINGY's are Circuit Breakers & they Usally are for POWER SEATS-POWER DOOR LOCKS-KEYLESSENTRYMODULE-WINDOW LOCLOUT SWITCH-MASTER POWER WINDOW SWITCH-& THERE IS USALLY 2 IN A LeSABRE.
check the fuse to make sure it's good and if it is your probably better off buying an aftermarket power antenna for it or go with a regular antenna.
The 1992 Chevy Corvette power window fuse is located in the fuse box. The power window fuse will be in the second column, second from the top.
In the glove box.
Just unplug the power wire below the motor or the fuse in the fuse box..
In the fuse panel ( the cover is visible on the drivers end of the dash when the drivers door is open ) the owners manual shows fuse # 1 - 7.5 amp - for power antenna , power mirror switch
it gets its power from radio so its on the radio fuse but if the radio is working its not the fuse my advice is go buy an antenna that's not powered just make sure it has several mounting pads
It is a 20 amp fuse in the under the hood fuse box, I think it is the same as the Mass air flow, and transmission fuse.
A fuse diagram for a 1992 Buick LeSabre is available from several auto part store chains. These stores have access to online automotive databases that store troubleshooting and repair information for most vehicles.
Yes there is a fuse. Determining which fuse protects the antenna motor may require some detective work. It may be the radio fuse, or it may be a separate fuse, perhaps shared with the rear-window defroster grid.
check the charging fuse and the fuse able link on field wire
It is on the same circuit as the interior light. 7.5 amp fuse. This is the always powered line to the antenna. There is also a power wire from your radio which makes it go up and down when the radio is turned on and off.
One fuse for entire circuit
If your antenna is dead you'll need to replace it!'' check the connections first to make sure you are getting power you'll have to have the car running and the radio on! there is not a fuse for the antenna - if you need a replacement buy one from checkers or any other auto-parts store is a lot cheaper than the dealer..
Look under the rear seat, driver side has 2 large fuse blocks.
I can confirm that the 1993 Caprice Classic also uses Fuse 1 for this, which is painful because now that the power antennas are failing in the - let me keep trying to lower the antenna for the next week while I'm parked in the garage - mode, and you can't get through the wheelwell to get at the motor or under the dash to locate a wire, you need to disable the interior lighting and the power locks. By the way, the fuse box is on the left side of the dash and can only be seen with the drivers door open. The fuse number for your power antenna will depend on what year your Caprice is. For example , on a 1991 Caprice fuse number 1 is used for the power antenna relay as well as other items such as the dome light, underhood light, power door locks, power mirrors etc.
CHECK BOTH THE INTERIOR FUSE AND THE COURTSY FUSE
Power windows are protected by a circuit breaker.
