Where is the fuse for the radio in a 2001 Chevy Malibu?
there are 2 places fuses are located in cars under the dash and under the hood each lid has where each specific fuse is located. good luck
The fuse box is located under the dash on the drivers side, on the side. On the 2001 Chevy Tracker it is a 10amp fuse and it is marked DOM. To reset the radio or CD player pull the fuse out with a pair of needle nose pliers for 10 sec. and push it back in. This should reset the radio, clock and CD player.
I had a similar problem with a 1998 Chevy Malibu. I found the PCM fuse in the drivers side fuse panel had no power. I talked to the dealer and aparently the power distribution drawings they have are incomplete. I put a jumper wire between the radio fuse and the PCM fuse. The instrument cluster came on and the engin will start. We are still running on the jumper wire until I can find more…
there is no accesory switch wire on the 02 malibu.....you must run your accessory wire from your aftermarket radio to the thick brown wire coming out of the ignition to the left of the radio bay and put a fuse in the wire close to where you tapped into the brown wire on the wire from your radio also your door chimes will work again
