Owners manual has location of all fuses. Interior fuses are usually on the drivers side of the dash between the dash and door.
The fuse box in a 2001 Chevy Impala under the hood can be opened and got behind by squeezing the tabs together to pull the top off. The fuse boxes inside the Chevy Impala can be reached by popping each cover off of the fuse boxes on either side panel of the dash.

check either end of the dash when you open the doors the fuse panel doors are the pull type
it may be the relay switch or a fuse blown check under the hood in fuse box #1 and fuse box #2.
dash lights radio info center lights do not work all the time. change the fuse but that did not solved the problem

Try looking at your tail light socket if it is fried that will blow the fuse
