Where is the fuse panel on a 1989 Corvette?
The fuse panel is on the right end of the dash, open the passenger side door and look at the dash where the door comes up agaist it. You will see a small door turn the knob and remove the panel to expose the fuses.
Look under the instrument panel on the driver side. I had to get up in and look to the left of the steering column. I'm trying to locate a diagram of what the fuse panel has in it. I have a haynes and chiltons and owners manual, but nothing that shows which spot is for what fuse. the etchings on the fuse panel itself appear to be too well worn to see what they were…
Both, the horn relay and the horn fuse are located under the dash panel on the left side of the steering wheel. The fuse is a 20 amp fuse, lower left side of the fuse panel (which is somewhat difficult to access...especially if you have large hands) on the firewall. The horn relay is located above the fuse panel on the branch of wires coming out from the rear of the fuse panel.
, if you found the fuse panel diagram for the 1981 Corvette I would like a copy please. My wife drove the car yesterday and adjusted the power seat and know none of the switches work and I think it's a fuse. She is 5'4" and I am 6'1" so now I cant drive my car. My e-mail address is email@example.com. Thanks
