The stock amp in a 1990 Mercury Grand Marquis is in the dash behind the radio.
The factory radio on a 1987 Mercury Grand Marquis is made to play local radio states and cassette tapes. It is connected to a high fidelity sound system.

Where is the radio amplifier in a 1989 mercury couger
http://www.carstereohelp.com/stereoremovalMercuryGrandMarquis2.htm this link has great step by step instuctions on new radio install including removing the original.
Sounds like receiver ok, check the speakers/fuses.
not completely sure yet, trying now....possibly need to get a puller from parts store and put wires in 4 holes in the front of radio and pull once they clip into place.....otherwise may be able to push it out from the back once ashtray is removed....wire harness is easily removed from back of radio once the radio is out....good luck :)
Mercury Radio Arts's population is 120.
Mercury Radio Arts was created in 2011.
On my 95 Grand Marquis I had to pry off the woodgrain panels beneath the trim ring (I am assuming you are talking about the one surrounding the gauge cluster and radio) There were 5 7mm screws under them and 2 more at the top of the gauge cluster. Good Luck!
Its on the right side of the hood. It runs under the hood and through the firewall to the back of the radio
The duration of Mercury Radio Arts is 2 hours.
Go down to the parts store or Wal-Mart and buy a radio puller. It is two horse shoe shaped wires with little notches on the ends. You put the pullers into the holes in the face of the radio. There should be two on the right and two on the left, above and below each other. Push them in until they lock in and then just pull out. You may have to spread the pullers toward the outside to get a good bite on the radio. Then, you just pull out and the radio slides out. Then unplug the wires from the back.
u could either find the diagram online like at google or ask.com and if it doesent show u one but it should go to auto zone or some good car place any questions email me at edwin_69@usa.com
you need radio tools,i found mine at walmart, they look like a big u,they come two to a pack, insert tools in holes beside radio, spread slightly toward outside with thumbs while pulling. I was able to do this on my 1995 model by cutting a wire clothes hanger and making two u-shaped horseshoe looking hooks. You can insert these into the holes on each side of the radio releasing the latches and you can ease the radio out. I used the tool, pushed it in, but the radio didn't come out. What am I doing wrong?
where is the radio fuse in a 1999 mercury mountaineer
First, check the fuse to make sure that it has not been blown. If the fuse is okay, i would check to make sure that there is power at the fuse. If there is its time to take the radio out and check the connection behind the radio. If the connection is snug in the radio I would check the voltage on both power inputs to make sure that they are each getting 12v of power. If they are then your radio may be toast. If not you need to look at the wires a little closer to find the problem. It may be a bad wire or bad connection somewhere along the lines.
There is no radio Disney station on the Grand Junction radio, but you can get a satellite radio subscription like XM radio. You can also listen to Radio Disney online.
