All fuseable links are on the passenger side on the inner wheelwell.

You failed to mention what year the S10 is but, most of them use a fusible link to protect the alternator circuit.

The 2001 Cavalier has the regulator built into the alternator. As this is an integrated component the alternator and regulator are changed as a single unit.

The water pump is located right under the alternator in the 2001 Cavalier. In order to get to it, you will need to remover the alternator, and the bracket that holds the alternator in place. The PCV valve on a 2002 Chevy Cavalier is located on the back of the valve cover. It is a plug in type.
