Today strangely enough I changed the blower motor in a 2001 general motors vehichle. Look under the dash and behind the glove box. The fan if im correct is mounted motor side down(exposed) with the squirrill cage above it.
The heater blower for a 2002 Chevy Silverado is mounted under the dash. It is on the passenger side, in the heater housing.
The heater inlet hose is on the firewall. On the 2002 Silverado it is close to the bottom of the firewall on the passenger side.
the heater fan resister,it is or should be on inside or on outside heater box.
Replace heater motor resistor.
you have waisted my time, thank you
Pass side firewall.
you have to remove the dash and steering column then the heater box I have done many and its at least 1.5 days to do.
You most like have a bad blower motor resister.......
The heater might blow cold air in a 2000 Silverado because the thermostat is sticking and not changing from cold to heat. The thermostat is usually located in a hose that leads from the radiator to the motor.
On the fuel rail--on the driver's side of the motor...
I think the person means the heater blower motor and not a radiator fan motor
Yes, located in the blower motor resistor pack. Follow the wires backward from the blower motor to find it.
